Working with Southampton City Council over a peroid of time we managed to navigate a successful plan to place before
the planning committee for Southamptons first Transit site. We managed to fulfill all of the requirements of the
Planning Matrix as we expected heavy opposition to this plan, but were successful in gaining permissions for the planned
site to proceed (by 1 vote).

Provision before Enforcement
Enforcement does not work! And it is expensive.
On the other hand complying with your statutory requirements and providing sites for Gypsy and Traveller families
can and does prove cost effective as shown by Bristol Council who provided 2 sites and made massive
savings on legal and other enforcement expenses within the first year.
