Clearwater Gypsies can provide a number of services to the media.

Clearwater Gypsies will provide relevant persons from the Gypsy and Traveller communities for comment on current affairs at short notice for appearance on Factual TV and or Radio news programs. These people will where ever possible be aware of and if possible involved in the events relating to the story being discussed.

  • Meridian : Responding to questions relating to the making of human rights case law.
  • Meridian - Focus : Responding to questions on the Romany Roots event.
  • BBC4 : Feature in the “What happened next” series “They steal our children”.
• Radio & TV interviews.
  • BBC South Today : Interview relating to the Clearwater human rights and planning legal case.
  • South Today : Facilitating interview and film footage of Gypsies for the Gypsy & Traveller History Month.
• Documentary film making.
  • Inside Out : Assistance, coordination and Gypsy liaison to the producers of a film of The Wickham Horse Fair.
  • Property Law : Gypsies and Travellers - The law of the land.
    A film made to train lawyers that uses the Clearwater case as a case study.
• Educational Films.
  • East Sussex/West Sussex Traveller Education Services : Participation in the creation of cultural awareness film.
• Print Media.
  • Greg Yates our founder, a member of the original editorial group of the Travellers’ Times in November 2003 is now a regular contributor to this quarterly magazine.
• Technical Advice on accurate fictional portrayals of Gypsies, Roma and Travellers in modern or historical scenarios
• Props. We can supply many Gypsy and Traveller items for Film, TV and Theatre.
